Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a complementary therapy intended to support wellness, improve circulation and aid in detoxification. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis. Seek advice from provider before starting any new treatment, especially if you have underlying health conditions

Professional Credentials

I am a certified lymphedema therapy trained in manual lymphatic drainage (MLD Vodder technique) and a registered/licensed occupational therapist. This background has given me comprehensive training and certifies me to perform lymphatic drainage massage.

Scope of Practice

This service is limited to non-invasive, therapeutic techniques and does not include any diagnosis/prescriptions. We are not currently accepting insurance.

Potential Risks and Contraindications

Although lymphatic drainage is generally safe, there are potential risks, particularly for individuals with certain health conditions like heart disease, active cancer, kidney problems, blood clots or infection. Precautions may be taken for some health conditions.

ABSOLUTE ACUTE CONTRAINDICATIONS include:

active infections, blood clots, malignant tumors, congestive heart failure, acute kidney failure

Informed Consent

By choosing to receive lymphatic drainage massage, you will be asked to acknowledge you have informed the provider of all relevant health conditions and that that you are receiving the massage voluntarily. You will also be asked to confirm you understand the nature of the treatment, its purpose, potential risks, and any pertinent information has been disclosed. A signature prior to treatment of such will be required
